A little nod to Andy Warhol and his endlessly repeated Marilyn: I wanted to see what my ‘flower-cell’ would look like in four colours, in true pop art style. The same silhouette, four colour schemes — pink, blue, ochre, red — like four variations on a theme for a single motif. A playful way of taking my world beyond its usual boundaries.
