Dragons

I didn’t choose the dragon for what it symbolises — I painted it because it kept coming back. It represents raw power, the kind you can never quite tame, but which you have to grow up with all the same. Here, these women are wearing armour; sometimes they close their eyes. They have gained something, but it has cost them dearly.
