Three red flowers lean over the edge of the painting and let their seeds fall, one by one, in a golden shower. It was autumn that inspired this scene: that moment when everything seems to be fading away, whilst in reality everything is already preparing to be reborn. Just as trees release their seeds before winter, my flower-cells entrust theirs to the wind — the rest of their story will be written elsewhere, further afield, next year.
