Cosmos III Hiver
The snow envelops these winter flowers, which look as though they’re made of ice. I’ve left them pale, almost transparent, set against a grey background that could be the sky or the snow — I haven’t decided. They look fragile, yet they aren’t: that’s exactly what interests me about winter. Beneath them, the filaments carry on searching, even in the cold.
